The Symposium will examine two broad themes: (1) how – if at all – finance can be regulated, and (2) the relationship between financial institutions, regulation, and legitimacy. Presentations and panel commentary will assess both government and private market responses to the challenges that lie ahead. Academics from across the country will be attending and preparing materials for publication in the first Business Law Review issue releasing in Fall 2011.
