This half-day conference will feature discussions on international environmental governance, in addition to analyzing recent developments in international environmental law. The discussions will focus on multilateral environmental agreements including the Convention on Biological Diversity, UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, International Whaling Commission, CITES, the Montreal Protocol, and the ongoing mercury negotiations.
Presented by the Program on International and Comparative Law, the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL), the Sustainable Development Law and Policy Publication, and the AU International Law Review.
