04:00 PM - 09:15 PM
6th Floor

American University Washington College of Law provides through its annual Hispanic Law Conference a forum for the discussion and analysis of issues that affect Latinos/as, both domestically and internationally. The conference brings together a unique mix of institutions and prominent experts devoted to the progress of Latinos/as in the U.S. and the region. The conference will commence with roundtable discussions with alumni and a mentoring program for high school students interested in legal studies. A high-level dialogue with a member of the current administration will then generate discussion and input from a group of experts. The conference will conclude with an awards dinner honoring distinguished WCL J.D. and LL.M. students and alumni, as well as community scholarship recipients. The keynote speaker at the dinner will be Diana S. Sen, Esq., Associate Counsel, LatinoJustice PRLDEF and President-Elect for the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA).

Presented by the Hispanic Bar Associations of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the WCL Latina/o Law Students Association (LaLSA) and The Latino/a Alumni Association of the Washington College of Law (LAAW)
