09:00 AM - 05:15 PM
Room 603

Symposium will consist of three panels all focused around themes arising from Professor Nancy Polikoff's groundbreaking book Beyond Gay (and Straight) Marriage. The panels will address feminist and comparative family law perspectives on non-traditional families, and an activist perspective on what approaches should be pursued in the aftermath of the multiple state-level bans on gay marriage, the California gay marriage decision, and the passage of Proposition 8.
