A North American Legal System *CLE*
9:00 am - 5:30 pm
As the principal North American countries of the United States, Canada, and Mexico continue to explore greater cooperation and integration, the current and potential relationships among their respective legal systems becomes increasingly important. Some of the most distinguished legal scholars and practitioners from these three countries will explore the theme of future legal harmonization within this continent (including within the context of the North American Free Trade Accord and international law) in both theoretical and applied terms within this day-long conference. All persons interested in this subject and the future of North America from the American University community and beyond are encouraged to attend.
Cosponsored by Washington College of Law and the Center for North America Studies
