Terrorist Attacks on September 11
(Co-sponsored by the Law Library of Congress)
April 8, 2002
Over the course of a full day at the Coolidge Auditorium in the Library of Congress, a diverse group of experts on a series of panels explored the impact of the September 11 attacks on civil liberties at home and abroad, U.S. foreign policy priorities, the nature and conduct of warfare, and the U.S. economy and global trade. Distinguished academics, government officials, representatives of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, and private practitioners discussed the evolving nature and implications of the U.S.'s war against terrorism on these and related topics. A reception in the Great Hall of the Library of Congress concluded the day.
