Description

This course provides an examination of the ethical obligations of lawyers. Topics include: the attorney/client relationship, attorney/client privilege and confidentiality, fees and other financial arrangements between attorney and client, rules protecting against conflicts of interest, and other professional obligations of lawyers. The course will focus primarily on the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct but will also address some state and local ethical requirements.
