International Arbitration and Choice-of-Law Issues is a one-credit course offered in the context of the International Arbitration Summer Session. The course - essentially based on the analysis of arbitral awards - will focus on the applicable law or rules of law to the different legal issues subject to the determinations of international arbitrators and show how their different approaches to choice-of-law problems influence arbitral solutions in regard to procedural matters and the merits of the dispute.

First Class Readings

Will be available at MyWCL Exam Information: The exam is a 24-hour take-home test. Students may download the take-home exams from the day after the last class of the course has taken place. The exams will be available online until July 1, 2016 (5:00pm DC Time) at MyWCL. Therefore, participants are not required to stay in DC after June 16.
