Description

This course is part of the Environmental Law Summer Session. It reviews major principles of international law for the conservation of wildlife and biological diversity. We will discuss international agreements on subjects such as biological diversity, oceans fisheries, migratory species, and wildlife trade. The course employs a problem-solving perspective that takes account of scientific and economic issues, as well as the range of policy and management tools that can promote conservation.
