Description

A wrongful conviction – the conviction of an innocent person represents the ultimate failure of a criminal legal system. This course is intended to examine the causes of wrongful convictions and to examine possible measures to prevent or remedy them. In a seminar format, we will first discuss the various factors which have been shown to contribute to wrongful convictions and then discuss ways in which we can limit the impact of these factors.
