Description

An examination of the ethical obligations of lawyers, with a primary focus on the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, a version of which has been adopted (with some variation) in all states and Washington, D.C. Note: This course will not satisfy the upper-level writing requirement.

Please note: The identified edition of the Casebook is required, as there have been significant rule changes not reflected in prior editions. For similar reasons, the current version of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct is needed. The identified edition of the Model Rules is recommended, as it is keyed to the Casebook and will be used for reference in class.
