Description
The Seminar focuses upon the analysis of social science, with a particular emphasis on psychology, and the implications for law generally and international arbitration in particular. Students must submit Comments & Questions in response to required readings, a Journal, and a Personal Research Plan. Students will participate in a Capstone Experience that involves the application of social science principles to live research at an elite international arbitration conference in Scotland during May 2020, which all enrolled students must attend and assist with. Given the limited space available in the course, there is an interview process. Please email Professor Franck for a copy of the draft syllabus to permit you to make a formal submission by November 3. In-personal interviews will occur during November 5-7, with registration decisions made by November 11.
