The course is designed to acquaint law students with an overview of legal liability in the college and university setting and explores decision making in the higher education environment. Areas examined include: Governance, structure, and history of higher education law; Faculty, administrator, and student rights; Higher education financing, land use, and taxation; Research, contracts, and intellectual property; Athletics, student activities, and services.
