Description

This course strategically wraps the inextricably linked threads of human rights, business, good governance and anti-corruption global best practices norms, around a common mutually supportive multi-stakeholder global rule of law agenda, through the prism of both international hard and soft law. It fleshes-out in more programming detail in some of consensus principles related most directly to both corruption mandates and human rights obligations, including the Ruggie Principles and the Global Compact. These voluntary consensus principles outline steps businesses should take to prevent, identify, mitigate and remediate adverse anti-corruption & Rights impacts on their operations.
