Description

Students enrolled in this class will perform factual investigation in the cases of actual prisoners who have contacted the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project claiming to be innocent of the crimes for which they are in prison. Such investigation may involve reading trial transcripts and appellate briefs; meeting with the prisoner; visiting courthouses to review documents; and locating and interviewing witnesses. It is expected that you will devote 5-10 hours per week to this class. Please do not enroll if you are not prepared to make this commitment.
