Textbooks and Other Materials

The textbook information on this page was provided by the instructor. Students should use this information when considering purchases from the AU Campus Store or other vendors. Students may check to determine if books are currently available for purchase online.

In order to focus on the substantial discussion of the topics and spur discussion in class, students are assigned background reading material to be completed before each class. The volume of reading will depend on the topic for the class, with more material in earlier classes. Based on the progress of the class, readings may be adjusted as the term progresses, so students are discouraged from reading ahead. Changes will be reflected in the on-line syllabus.
