Welcome to Administrative Law Fall 2022 (in the classroom I hope!). We will be following the usual syllabus with student team problems in most classes. We will be using MyWCL. I look forward to meeting everyone on August 22 and communicating before that.

Description

A study of the structure, powers, and processes of administrative agencies that are the source of much of our nation's law. Topics include the delegation of power to agencies, the constitutional right to a hearing, agency procedures of adjudication and rule making, information law debates, judicial review of agencies, and administrative reform.

The required textbook for this course is Michael Asimow & Ronald Levin, "State and Federal Administrative Law" (5th edition 2020), along with a free textbook supplement which will be posted on MyWCL.
