Description

This class will explore the powers and responsibilities of the federal prosecutor. Over the course of the semester, students will focus on how decisions are made by these prosecutors throughout the different stages in the administration of criminal justice, in light of legal, policy, practical, and ethical considerations. The course will also examine the many political and policy issues at play in the work of federal prosecutors, as well as the interaction between them and other key stakeholders in the administration of criminal justice.
