Description

In this course, we will learn about the range of practical skills applicable to lawyers, think about what personal/professional success means and how to achieve it and will explore broader topics of the legal system, law practice, and justice. We will think strategically about how to be effective in any law office, including dealing with supervisors, colleagues and staff and the nuances of maneuvering though work assignments effectively. We will consider what professionalism looks like and how ethical issues arise. We will drill down on a wide variety of lawyering skills, including communication, the importance of building effective relationships and career development.
