With extra work and agreement from the professor, the paper for this course (if executed correctly) meets the Upper-Level Writing Requirement. This class can not satisfy both the experiential skills requirement and the Upper Level Writing Requirement. **To get the graduation requirement marked as "met" the Office of the Registrar needs the signed ULWR confirmation form. Assessment:Group project, journals, a capstone paper, and in class. Performance. Permission Required. The seminar is limited to members of the executive board of the Administrative Law Review. This restriction is imposed by WCL's contract with the American Bar Association, a group that funds the ALR.

Description

"Educational objectives and goals: 1. Developing expertise in advanced administrative law by the study of the fundamentals of government regulation; 2. Developing competency in adjudication through simulation and role-playing pertaining to the major functions lawyers perform in regulatory practice 3. Developing expertise regarding the interrelationship between agencies, courts, and the political domain. 4. Through role-playing and simulation, developing skills designed to enhance the ability of students, as lawyers, to represent diverse interests."
