Legal Drafting: Wills & Trusts (CANCELLED) (LAW-988-001)
Evelyn Abravanel
Notices
Unlikely to be offered in F2018. Assessment: Projects and Class Participation.
Description
With respect to my Drafting class, this is a very skills-oriented learning experience. It comes as close to a live client clinic experience as possible but, of course, within the context of a drafting class. The class focuses in an in-depth fashion on the use of Plain English (rather than excessive legalese) in seeking to accomplish the client’s wishes in the context of drafting Wills and Trusts. Finally, the class is, in essence, taught in a seminar fashion even though it’s not labeled as such in the course listings.
