Description

This course in prosecution and trial advocacy teaches both the role of the prosecutor in the criminal justice system and selected trial advocacy skills through trying real criminal cases as student attorneys in Maryland, lectures, in-class demonstrations, mock exercises, and experiences outside of class. Approximately one-third of the course, possibly a bit more, will be devoted to trial advocacy, while the remainder of the class will be spent discussing the role of the prosecutor, the court system, evidence, and case planning/case rounds.
