Assessment: Students will participate in supervision by operating with a discernable supervision agenda and through responsiveness to requests for supervision memos or strategic case plans. Students will provide written and oral reflections of their case work during peer-led rounds, supervision, and during regular evaluation meetings. Students casework will be observed and reviewed throughout the year. Students are required to report to their colleagues about their casework in rounds. They are also expected to operate with a discernable supervision agenda for when seeking supervision from me; sometimes this translates into written Supervision Memos or written Strategic Case Plans. Also, we meet at least once per semester (and often more given case activity) to “debrief” a recent court event or case outcome. Students prepare written reflections in advance of these meetings. Lastly, of course, there is the “performance” in court or negotiation.
