Description

This course aims to give you a basic understanding of the structure of U.S. labor and employment law. It does so by focusing on the many different ways in which law regulates the employment relationship. I have two key goals for this course: first, to prepare you to spot and evaluate some of the major employment and labor law problems a client (whether employee or employer) might be likely to face today; and, second, to give you an appreciation of the comparative benefits and drawbacks of the multitude of approaches to regulating employment that currently exist under U.S. law.
