Description

This survey course covers marriage, divorce, child custody, spousal support, property division, state intervention in the family, and families and parentage outside of marriage. There is an emphasis on constitutional doctrine affecting families. There are no course prerequisites, but students who have not taken Constitutional Law should speak to the professor at the beginning of the semester.
