Description

This course introduces the student to the state and federal systems of law and policy regulating certain aspects of American business associations. The major areas regulated by these legal systems are (1) choice and formation, (2) management and governance, (3) financing, (4) merger and acquisition, and (5) financial regulation. The course pursues these areas with the objective of providing students with a basic knowledge of business associations law and policy and with the skills of analysis and client counseling pertinent to this field.
