Description

This is the required criminal procedure course, covering search and seizure law, confessions, and identification precedures. The Topics covered include: what is a "search"; when a warrant is required; the concept of probable cause; the stop and frisk doctrine; exceptions to the warrant requirement; the exclusionary rule and its good faith exception; the Miranda doctrine; voluntariness of confessions; the right to counsel; and identification procedures.
