Description

The course gives students an overview of practical issues involved in doing business in Latin America. The seminar focuses on, among other topics, contracts, corporate forms and finance, commercial practices, labor issues, privatization, joint ventures, foreign investment laws among different Latin American jurisdictions, choice of forum and law in international commercial contracts executed in or applicable to Latin America, and consumer protection legislation.
