Description

This course provides an in-depth review of the laws, regulations and policies governing the entry of foreign nationals into the United States for employment and business-related purposes. Students will learn the fundamental principles and defining concepts of the various temporary and permanent visa categories to learn to identify those most suitable for an individual employee. Students will also examine enforcement programs targeting employers and how to establish corporate compliance. Finally, students will gain valuable insight into economic, social, and political considerations behind immigration law and policy for more effective representation of individuals and employers for business-related purposes.
