Description
This course provides an overview of arbitration under Investment Treaties and ICSID Arbitration of disputes under Investment Treaties. The course will also address “hot topics” in Investor-State Arbitration including dominant and effective nationality, transparency, claims related to environmental and public welfare measures, intellectual property claims, 28 USC Section 1782 – US court assistance to foreign and international tribunals, Intra-EU BITs, and proposals for reform.
