Evidentiary Foundation & Objections (LAW-968-001)
Evidence and Civil or Criminal Trial Advocacy are prerequisites for this course. Please contact Trial Advocacy Program Director Cynthia Goode Works if you wish to waive this prerequisite.
A practical course designed to enrich students' understanding of the Federal Rules of Evidence and their application in a trial setting. Through a series of exercises, which simulate pretrial motions and witness examinations, students develop the skills to advocate for or against the admissibility of evidence at trial.
