Description

The main goal of this course is for every student, with the advice and support of classmates and the professor, to prepare an excellent (and potentially publishable) paper at least 20 pages long (excluding footnotes) about Health Law or Food and Drug Law.  During the first weeks of the course, we will examine various current and advanced issues in these fields that may be attractive paper topics. Papers may be about any topic related to the fields of Health Law and/or Food and Drug Law broadly defined. Students will present their works in progress in class and critique each other’s projects. Papers of sufficient length may be used satisfy the upper level writing requirement. To be eligible for this seminar, students must either have taken at least one relevant course previously or receive the permission of the instructor (which will be granted if the student has relevant experience and/or a relevant well-conceived research project).
