Description

This is a practical, experiential advanced trial advocacy class designed to explore the important technological advances and innovations used by trial lawyers to accumulate and organize pretrial information (including videotaped depositions), and present a persuasive and engaging story at trial. Students will first learn how this software works. Then, through a series of exercises, students will work individually and in teams to learn how to integrate litigation technology through each of the trial segments using a simulated case file. Finally, the course culminates in a mock jury trial focusing on applying litigation technology effectively and presided over by a Federal Judge.
