This course explores key U.S. constitutionalýprovisions, laws, regulations and institutions, asýwell as voluntary norms, intended to fosterýintegrity and to prevent and sanction corruption,ýparticularly in the public sector. It will analyzeýU.S. criminal laws, including on bribery andýmoney laundering; preventive measures to promoteýtransparency and accountability, such as ethicsýstandards, access to information and whistleblowerýprotection; and problematic areas, such asýconflicts of interest, lobbying andýcampaign finance.
