First 2 Class Sessions CANCELED

For complicated reasons, the first Corporate Finance class of the semester will be on 1/14 Wednesday. The regular classes that would normally meet as the first two class sessions of the term (1/7 Wed and 1/12 Mon) will NOT meet.

My apologies -- as I realize this makes it hard for people to decide whether to stay in the course or not, I will have special office hours twice on Friday, 1/9, for anyone who wants to ask about the course. I will post readings to be done for the first class 1/14, Wed, and a FAQs memo explaining the course requirements and organization. Again, I'm very sorry for not being able to hold the first two class sessions, but look forward to seeing everyone on 1/14 Wed.

Description

Introduces fundamental concepts of corporate finance, the financing of corporate activities, and the basics of the internal capital structure of the corporation. The course focuses on the legal aspects of finance and capital structure.
