Description

The Patent Prosecution course focuses on practical application of patent law concepts in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. The course examines patent statutes and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office rules governing patent prosecution, as well as court decisions impacting and interpreting patents. In addition to in?class discussions, workshops, and homework assignments, students will draft a patent application and a response to an “Office Action” issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
