Textbooks and Other Materials

The textbook information on this page was provided by the instructor. Students should use this information when considering purchases from the AU Campus Store or other vendors. Students may check to determine if books are currently available for purchase online.

First Class Readings

In preparation for the first class, just as an initial exercise, please take a look at the appellant brief and the appellee brief in the "MK" case, and the appellant brief and the appellee brief in the "EIA" case, all of which are available here electronically for you. In each case, the appellant brief is relatively long and complicated, and the appellee brief is relatively short and simple. Which side’s brief do you find most effective, and why?

Briefs can be found on Blackboard.
