Description

Examines legal, financial, and policy problems involved in investing across national borders while focusing on strategies and techniques of structuring and financing such investments. Topics considered include the differing business interests and perspectives of typical parties to such transactions, local law issues and the international legal and regulatory environment for foreign investment, and the role of political risk management. Selected international investment transactions, both actual and hypothetical, are used to illustrate recurring issues.
