Description

This is an advanced writing course. The course helps international students and visiting legal scholars demonstrate competency in legal research and writing. Ongoing teacher-student interaction takes place in the selection of topic and research plan, formation of the outline, review of the rough draft, and critique of the final draft before submission to a law professor for summative assessment. This one-credit course targets LL.M. students working in fields involving legal writing, policymaking, or producing journal-style legal publications.
