Description

This seminar digs into the core issues at the intersection of technology, law, and security. Students will engage with AUWCL’s recently-launched Tech, Law & Security (TLS) Program to tackle issues such as the future of free speech, the threat of foreign disinformation campaigns, managing malicious online content, proposals to enhance bio-surveillance, and the privacy and transparency implications of advanced surveillance. Through TLS, students will have the opportunity to publish papers on emerging issues. This course may be used to meet the upper-level writing requirement with advance permission of the professor.
