COURSE DESCRIPTION With other courses in the program designed to introduce essential elements of hotel law, the Advanced Legal Topics course examines critical issues facing in the hospitality industry. Hotel attorneys constantly address scenarios calling for complex legal analysis across multiple disciplines, while novel issues routinely emerge from industry sectors. In particular, labor and employment issues continue to push against inflexible financial conditions and economic conditions. At the same time, gaming and casinos are having unprecedented growth nationally, bringing issues of regulation, compliance, and nuanced negotiation and drafting of legal agreements.
