Description
This course introduces students to basic concepts in business law as well as business, finance, and economics important to business law. It is aimed at 1L students who did not come to law school with a prior background in these subjects; the course assumes no prior background. The course will walk through basic issues, concepts, and vocabulary from the business world and introduce students to their application in law. The course is designed to prepare students for WCL business law courses and is not a substitute for them. The course will have a take-home exam; there will also be assignments during the semester, required but not graded as part of the final course grade.
