Description

This graded research seminar will explore issues in federal appellate litigation. We will follow the docket of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in significant depth, drafting and publishing reports on key pending and decided cases on behalf of the ABA. We will hear from a wide variety of guest speakers, including noted experts on the WCL faculty in various substantive areas on the court's docket. Students can expect rigorous engagement on legal issues facing U.S. courts, hands-on mentoring, and concrete writing experience.
