Description

This course is designed for students who have a basic knowledge of trial practice and want to learn advanced trial skills handling witnesses involved in sexual assault, rape, and domestic violence cases. The emphasis will be on the unique legal, evidentiary, ethical, medical, psychological, and behavioral principles that underlie these cases, with the ultimate goal of putting these principles to work in the courtroom. The in-class exercises are based on practical instruction, learning-by-doing, and feedback from faculty and fellow students.
