Assessment:Paper. Class participation.
Description
This course examines the relationship between property law and environmental concerns. The course teaches students how to be effective readers, and how to devise a topic and execute a research paper. We explore strategies for digesting law review articles and book chapters in an efficient, yet thorough, way. We discuss how to develop and write a successful paper. In addition, we review any property doctrines relevant to the week’s reading, to assure that students are keeping up with their general knowledge of property law and to ground class discussion in property concepts.
