Description

This course is a one-credit pass/fail seminar taken in conjunction with a field placement in a non-profit organization, government agency, court or private law firm handling pro bono matters exclusively. This course integrates experiential learning gained in the field with self-reflection through weekly journals as well as open discussion and interaction with peers in an small group setting. Class discussion ranges from students' specific challenges and achievements in their placements to broader issues relevant to a career in law such as career planning, networking, work/life balance, and expectations of young attorneys in the "real world." Please note that the first class will meet on JUNE 8TH and the last class will be Monday, July 27th
