Description
This course surveys issues regarding access to and financing/funding of health care in the United States, as well as recent health care reform initiatives. Topics include: access to and quality of health care services and products, public (government) and private financing of health care services and products, the role of third party insurance (federal, state, private), ERISA and managed care.
Academic credit requirement: 15-page paper, plus endnotes, due 3 weeks after the last class.
