Description

Focuses in-depth on bail, plea-bargaining, and sentencing. Classroom discussion explores both theoretical developments of these topics in the context of procedural paradigms and practical aspects of prosecution and defense in the three focus areas. The impact of race and drugs on the criminal process also is discussed. Simulation and role-playing will be employed to examine each of these areas.
