Description

This course will have an essay exam. It will be comprised of four essay questions, and you will be permitted to take four hours to work on the exam. Each question will present a fact pattern and ask for your opinion of the strengths and weakness of the case.

Class participation will count in your final grade. For those who participate actively, I will bump your grade up one level after I assign the grade based on the exam. In other words, if you get a B+ on the exam, and participate actively during the year, your final grade will be bumped up to an A-. There is no negative effect on the final exam grade for those who do not participate actively.
