Description

This course covers the UN human rights system, including the key institutions (treaty bodies and Charter bodies), mechanisms like individual complaints, Special Procedures, Universal Periodic Review and Commissions of Inquiry, mainstreaming of human rights at the UN, the role of the High Commissioner, and a selection of legal issues on civil and political rights and economic social and cultural rights.
